Returns & Refunds Policy
Beauté Mafia Pty Ltd
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to Beauté Mafia Pty Ltd (“Beauté Mafia”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and should be read in conjunction with our Shipping Policy. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for goods that are faulty, unsafe, or not as described. Where a failure is considered minor, Beauté Mafia may choose to repair, replace, or refund the item at its discretion.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Change of Mind Returns
Due to the hygienic and consumable nature of the products we sell, Beauté Mafia does not accept change-of-mind returns on:
- Skincare
- Cosmetics
- Fragrance
- Haircare
- Opened, used, or tampered products
This includes instances where a product is unsuitable, unwanted, or incorrectly ordered by the customer.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Beauté Mafia within 7 days of delivery.
To assess your claim, we require:
- Clear photographic or video evidence of the issue
- Your order number
- A brief description of the fault, damage, or error
All claims are assessed prior to approval. Where a fault is confirmed, Beauté Mafia will provide a resolution in accordance with the ACL, which may include a refund, replacement, or store credit.
Damage in Transit
Once an order has been dispatched, risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.
If an item is damaged during transit:
- You must notify Beauté Mafia within 7 days of delivery
- Photographic evidence of the damaged item and packaging is required
- Beauté Mafia may assist with a carrier enquiry; however, we are not liable for damage caused by third-party delivery services
Any resolution offered in these circumstances is subject to assessment and the outcome of the carrier investigation.
Proof of Fault Requirement
Beauté Mafia reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of any fault, damage, or issue prior to approving a refund, replacement, or other resolution.
Claims submitted without sufficient supporting evidence may be declined.
Returns Not Required
Due to the hygienic nature of our products, physical returns are not generally required.
Where a refund or replacement is approved, resolution will typically be based on photographic or video evidence and, at our discretion, without requiring the item to be returned.
Beauté Mafia reserves the right to request additional information or, in rare cases, a return where reasonably necessary.
Sale Items
Items purchased during a sale, promotion, or clearance are final sale, unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
